Nationalization of the AraratCement factory not conditioned by elections – David Khudatyan
David Khudatyan, Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, stated that the opposition is already isolated and there is no need to isolate it further, responding to an observation by Aysor.am that the nationalization of the AraratCement factory is aimed at isolating the opposition.
Khudatyan claimed that the ruling Civil Contract party has never discussed the return of property to the state within such a logic.
“We are not interested in Gagik Tsarukyan’s statements every two days,” he said.
The Civil Contract member expressed confidence that the party is very close to achieving success in the elections and that citizens will confirm that success on June 7.
He also assured that the nationalization of the AraratCement is not linked to the elections.
“The illegally acquired properties taken from Armenia will be returned to the state and its citizens,” he added.
