“Are you really afraid of it? I wish you a fearless day” – Ararat Mirzoyan on the visit of Marco Rubio

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has not yet disclosed the agenda of the upcoming visit by Marco Rubio to Armenia.

“We will announce it when he arrives,” Mirzoyan told journalists in Gyumri.

When asked whether Rubio’s visit was intended to support the authorities ahead of the elections, Mirzoyan responded: “Are you really afraid of it? I wish you a fearless day.”

Rubio is scheduled to arrive in Armenia on May 26.

A meeting between Foreign Minister Mirzoyan and the U.S. Secretary of State will take place, after which the ministers will make statements to the press.

The signing of bilateral documents is also planned.
