Christianity and surrendering the homeland are incompatible – Sharmazanov’s response to Pashinyan

Eduard Sharmazanov, a member of the executive body of the Republican Party of Armenia and former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, responded to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who earlier stated that opposition leaders should appear on live broadcast and explain how the Gospel, the Bible, and the New Testament differ from one another.

Sharmazanov said that one does not become a Christian simply by memorizing Psalms or quoting passages from the Gospel.

One does not become a Christian just by memorizing Psalms and quoting from the Gospel.

Christianity is love, forgiveness, mercy, and above all, work.
Christianity and the preaching of hatred are incompatible.
Christianity and cowardice are incompatible.
Christianity and surrendering the homeland are incompatible.
Christianity and arrogance, as well as pride, are incompatible.

Be a little more restrained and stop being so hypocritical,” Sharmazanov noted.
