Over 4,250 tons of vegetables, strawberries and 10 million flowers expected to be exported in June

The Government of the Republic of Armenia is supporting economic entities engaged in exporting fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers from Armenia to the markets of the European Union, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Under the program, compensation limits per export volume are set as follows:

770 drams per 1 kg of strawberries
275 drams per 1 kg of tomatoes
400 drams per 1 kg of peppers
37 drams per 1 flower

The program is available to legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, and individuals exporting goods from the territory of Armenia between June 1 and July 1.

In total, the government will subsidize 1 billion 912.5 million drams, including:

550 million drams for tomatoes
800 million drams for peppers
192.5 million drams for strawberries
370 million drams for flowers

It is planned that in June more than 4,250 tons of vegetables, strawberries and around 10 million flowers will be exported.
