Armenia and the United States have signed the Framework Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America on Strategic Cooperation Concerning the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).

“Pursuant to the implementation of the understanding reached in Yerevan on May 26, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed the Agreement remotely. The Agreement was signed by the U.S. Secretary of State in Washington on June 1, and by the Foreign Minister of Armenia in Yerevan on June 4.

This is another important step in realizing the Armenia-US vision of a peaceful, secure, and prosperous Armenia and region.

Subsequently, Armenia and the United States will work consistently to complete the necessary domestic procedures for the Agreement’s entry into force, with the aim of ensuring the implementation of TRIPP on the ground within the shortest possible timeframe,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
