A motion to detain Armen Ashotyan has been filed

A motion to detain Armen Ashotyan, the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, has been filed.

The hearing will begin in a few hours at the Anti-Corruption Court.

“Armen Ashotyan will be detained by Judge Aram Grigoryan of the Anti-Corruption Court. The hearing will take place in a few hours, I will write about the specific time later,” said lawyer Tigran Atanesyan.

Ashotyan was arrested early this morning. The Investigative Committee had explained why Ashotyan and a group of people were arrested.
