“Armat Media” is actually closed, editor says (Video)

I am very sorry to inform you that our editing computers are being taken away and we can no longer work, Armat Media Editor-in-Chief Nelly Avetisyan told reporters.

“We are being deprived of the opportunity to conduct live broadcasts and stand-up programs. We cannot engage in professional journalism, as law enforcement officers are taking away all of our equipment,” Avetisyan said.

According to her, the actions of law enforcement agencies are obstructing the work of the media.

“The work of Armat Media is being paralyzed. This is a policy aimed at shutting down Armat Media,” the editor-in-chief stated.

Website editor Aghavni Sukiasyan also said that, as a result of the actions of law enforcement officers, the staff will not be able to access their offices.

“The rooms will remain sealed until a decision is made to reopen them. At the moment, Armat Media is closed,” Sukiasyan said.

As previously reported, law enforcement officers are conducting operations at the offices of Armat Media today.
