Car driven into crowd of opposition campaigners, Tonoyan says (Video)

A terrifying incident occurred recently in Yerevan's Shengavit administrative district, reports PAP spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan.

“According to eyewitnesses, a provocateur drove a car into a crowd of our teammates from the Prosperous Armenia and Mother Armenia parties who were campaigning.

The injured are currently being transported to hospitals. We are clarifying the details of the incident, while urging law enforcement agencies to establish all the circumstances of the incident as soon as possible. This is a terrible precedent that shows the extent to which political intolerance and hostility toward opponents can reach. We wish our teammates good health and a speedy recovery,” Tonoyan wrote.
