Russia should respect our sovereignty and independent decision-making – Ararat Mirzoyan

Relations between Armenia and Russia need some improvement, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in a conversation with journalists.

“We hope that after the elections, we will be able to improve relations with our Russian partners and discuss existing issues in a healthy and constructive atmosphere,” he said.

Mirzoyan noted that solutions should be found that serve the interests of both Armenia and Russia.

“Our Russian partners should respect our sovereignty and independent decision-making and approach these matters in a more constructive manner,” the Armenian Foreign Minister said.
