Recount of votes underway; awaiting clarification on PAP status - Narek Karapetyan (Video)

Strong Armenia member Narek Karapetyan said that a vote recount is currently underway and that it remains unclear what the final situation regarding PAP will be.

“In that case, we will better understand the possibilities. It will become clear whether the opposition will have an opportunity to make its voice heard during the appointment and oversight of officials such as the Prosecutor General. We will also see whether the National Assembly will have the necessary tools to provide effective checks and balances, especially given that the ruling party has lost a significant number of mandates in this election,” Karapetyan said.
