Nikol Pashinyan stated at today’s government session that Zvartnots Airport is insufficient and must be expanded as soon as possible.

He emphasized the need to meet international aviation safety standards.

“This is an urgent issue,” Pashinyan noted.

He also said he is placing on the agenda the question of giving Syunik Airport an international status, adding that this will require significant work.
