Margara checkpoint to be opened to send humanitarian cargo from Armenia to Lebanon
The Margara checkpoint between Armenia and Turkey will be opened from June 12 to 22 so that humanitarian aid cargo sent by Armenia to Lebanon can be transported through Turkish territory. The government has made a decision.
As a result of working meetings between representatives of the relevant departments of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Lebanon, an agreement was reached to discuss the issue of Armenia providing humanitarian assistance to Lebanon.
Accordingly, an opportunity will be created to deliver humanitarian aid to Lebanon more quickly and at lower cost.
