The Wings of Unity party will appeal to the Constitutional Court to invalidate the election results

We will stand by the 33,537 votes given to us. People have trusted and believed in us, and we will pursue all lawful means to protect those votes, said Liparit Drmeyan, a representative of the Wings of Unity party, at a meeting with journalists.

“We consider the Central Election Commission’s decision of June 14 to be unlawful. We will go all the way, through all means not prohibited by law, to defend the votes cast for us, including by appealing to the Constitutional Court,” Drmeyan said.

He noted that the official election results do not reflect the true will of the voters.

“They do not reflect it because, throughout the entire pre-election period, the Civil Contract party and the government apparatus used such measures on voters that they were unable to freely express their will. The freedom of choice, as guaranteed by the Constitution, has been violated,” said Liparit Drmeyan.

He stated that the elections were neither free nor fair.
