Economic growth in Armenia has slowed somewhat – Central Bank Chairman

In the first quarter of 2026, economic growth in Armenia has decelerated slightly, while still remaining at a relatively high level, Central Bank Chairman Martin Galstyan said during a meeting with journalists.

“Problems in individual export markets may lead to a decline in income in the Armenian economy, as well as to the formation of excess supply for certain products, mainly posing deflationary risks,” the Central Bank Chairman said.
