Armenian and Indian PMs hold a telephone conversation, emphasize the activation of political dialogue

A telephone conversation took place between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Modi once again congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on his victory in Armenia’s parliamentary elections and wished him success in his future activities.

Nikol Pashinyan thanked Modi for his congratulations and, in turn, congratulated him on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history, wishing him continued success in advancing the country’s prosperity and development.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the ongoing development of friendly relations between Armenia and India and noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation. They highlighted the growing political dialogue between the two countries, as well as the expansion of cooperation in the fields of economy, high technology, education, culture, and other areas of mutual interest.

The prime ministers also discussed cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats and reviewed steps aimed at further deepening ties across various areas of the Armenia-India agenda. The sides underscored the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits to strengthen cooperation further and promote new joint initiatives.
