Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is not rushing to publicly express his position regarding the election of the next Speaker of the National Assembly.

“A meeting of the Civil Contract party will be held today, during which one of the nominated candidates will be elected by secret ballot. The outcome will be made public. We will listen to the candidates, ask questions, and make a decision,” Nikol Pashinyan told reporters, adding that he will cast his vote in secret.
