Stepan Asatryan has encountered unforeseen issues and informed Aramayis Takhmazyan that he would not attend today’s court hearing

The court hearing in the case involving the Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese, His Grace Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, and the head of the Aragatsotn Diocese, spiritual pastor of Surb Gevorg Church in Mughni, Father Garegin Arsenyan, has begun.

According to Aramayis Takhmazyan, Stepan Asatryan encountered unforeseen issues and informed him that he would not be able to attend today’s court hearing.

“He didn’t specify what the problem was. We spoke yesterday and everything was fine, but this morning he called very briefly and said that some issues had arisen,” Takhmazyan told the court.

The judge also noted that Stepan Asatryan had not informed the court of his absence.
