Turkish presidential administration accuses Israel of “hypocrisy”
The administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reacted to Israel’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
Burhanettin Duran, head of the Turkish Presidential Administration’s Directorate of Communications, accused Israel of “hypocrisy,” stating that Israeli authorities are committing genocide in Gaza while invoking the 1915 events for political purposes.
“Israel, without blinking an eye, killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians in Gaza, including children, women and the elderly,” Duran wrote on the X social media platform.
