The authorities could not accept that Armen Ashotyan was at large under various restrictions after spending 25 months in detention, Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the National Assembly’s I Have Honor faction, wrote.

“Following another illegal detention on June 5, the investigative body yesterday filed a petition to extend Armen’s detention by another two months. The authorities remain obsessed with keeping Armen behind bars. The petition will be considered today at 6:30 p.m. in the Anti-Corruption Court,” he wrote.
