Nikol Pashinyan and Masoud Pezeshkian meet in Tehran

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran.

The Armenian prime minister once again expressed his condolences over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, emphasizing that Armenia shares the grief of the Iranian people.

President Pezeshkian thanked Pashinyan for traveling to Tehran to attend the official farewell ceremony for Ali Khamenei. He said Iran highly appreciates the Armenian government’s stance during a difficult period, as well as the humanitarian support it provided.

Pezeshkian also congratulated Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections and expressed confidence that bilateral relations would continue to develop and deepen.

The two leaders also exchanged views on regional issues, underscoring the importance of continued efforts to strengthen peace, stability, and regional cooperation.
