Armen Ashotyan’s detention extended by one month

A court has extended the detention of Armen Ashotyan by one month.

Speaking to reporters, Ashotyan’s lawyer, Ruben Melikyan, said the defense will appeal the decision. He stated that the prosecution of Ashotyan is exclusively politically motivated.

Ashotyan was arrested on June 5.
