Two servicemen accused of driving serviceman Narek Torosyan to suicide detained

Two servicemen accused of driving serviceman Narek Torosyan of an N military unit of the Ministry of Defense to suicide on July 21 through negligence were detained.

Armenia’s Investigative Committee reported this.

The Investigative Committee had reported that a criminal case was initiated in connection with the death of serviceman Narek Torosyan of an N military unit of the Ministry of Defense on July 21. The necessary investigative and procedural actions are being carried out.

According to information received by ArmLur.am, the serviceman had been driven to suicide. According to preliminary data, the soldier had been beaten before his death, and law enforcement officers had also uncovered other circumstances.
