Baku is increasing its influence over Armenia, Tigran Abrahamyan says

Aliyev proudly declared that Azerbaijan has made a “significant contribution” to Armenia’s energy security, referring to Azerbaijani gasoline and diesel fuel supplies, said Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia.

“If we look at this from the Armenian perspective, we will see that, amid the unresolved conflict, Baku is increasing its influence over Armenia, acquiring new levers of pressure and influence over systems that are vital to Armenia.

I don’t think there is a single person in our country who believes that Azerbaijani supplies are of purely economic importance.

The same applies to unresolved issues and Azerbaijan’s growing influence,” he noted.
