Many European countries are not ready to open their markets to Armenian goods, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service says

Many European countries have already signaled to the European Union leadership that they are not prepared to open their markets to Armenian goods, according to Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

The SVR said Brussels recognizes that Armenia would face a deep economic crisis if it were to leave the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

According to the Russian intelligence agency, EU institutions also understand that the bloc’s growing economic difficulties – caused by its sanctions policy against Russia and the desire to support the war in Ukraine – would make it impossible for Brussels to compensate Armenia for the billions of dollars in losses.
