Rock, non stop, 1 day and night

The rock lovers will have an opportunity to enjoy non stop rock music on Sevan beach. On 28 August in “Miami” resort will take place the first international musical festival called “Musicians for Peace”. It was initiated and organized by “Forsh and Friends” company by the support of RA Ministry of Economy, as well as RA Transport and communication, Diaspora, Culture Ministries.

As Mekhak Apresyan the Head of Tourism and Regional Economic Development Department at Ministry of Economy, told during the press conference today, the initiation coincides with the political issues of our statehood, “As the festival is international, it will help the development of inner tourism and will present Armenia in the international market as a country organizing festivals.”

“We hope to make this festival traditional and to organize it not only in summer. We have started negotiations with a series famous musicians who by the support of different private and governmental bodies will take part in the festival next year”,- said Forsh the founding president of “Forsh and Friends” company.

By his words this year in the festival will take part groups mainly in rock genre: Forsh and “Re Minor”, “Crossroads”, “Reincarnation”, “Dorians”, “Bambir” from Armenia, “String”, “Baqur”, “Smile”, “Vova Magiladze”, “Zumbalden” from Georgia and “Amrita” from England. There will be 75 participnats in general. One of the groups is playing in folk-vanguard-jazz-rock style.

“The chosen groups are playing their own songs and not Beatles or from other famous groups, and that is important”, - he mentioned.

Forsh also noted that the entrance is by tickets. The price of the tickets is not decided yet, but it probably, will not be more than 5000 AMD, in which will also be included the travel price.

The singer also informed that such kind of concert will be held at the end of the autumn in Nagorno Karabakh.
