Israel boycotts Turkish Party

Only Labor ministers Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and Avishai Braverman represented the cabinet at Thursday's reception organized by the Turkish Embassy in Israel on the occasion of Turkish Independence Day.

A few days before Israeli Minister of Information and Diaspora Yuli Edelstein called on ministers to boycott the event since Turkey holds anti-Israeli policy.

The reception to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the Turkish Republic was organized due to Republic Day which marks October 29 since 1923.
