John McCain becomes the National Hero of Georgia

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili honored US Sen. John McCain with the Order of the National Hero as senator had repeatedly supported the country, Georgia News agency reported. Besides, the Georgian Association in the United States awarded John McCain last autumn for his backing Georgia during the war in August 2008.

The Order of the National Hero is traditionally awarded to persons for their epical activities on behalf of Georgia.
