Serzh Avedikyan's film a winner on Cannes Festival
The results of the 63rd Cannes festival were summed up. In the number of the short films the best was recognized the film of the French Armenian director, producer, screen writer and actor Serzh Avedikyan, “Chienne d’Histoire”.
Serzh Avedikyan is born in 1955 in Yerevan. “Trip to Armenia”, “Mother”, “Aram” and “An Army of Criminals” are from the favorite films of the Armenian audience which are taken by him.
The branch of the Golden Palm received director Virasetakula Apichatpongafor his film “Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives”
The Grand Prix went to the director Ksavie Bovua for his film “Of Gods and Men”. The best director was named Mattie Amalrik and the best screen writer was Li Chon-Don.
The best actress was awarder Juliet Binosh and the best actors Ksavie Bardemand Elio Germano.
The Golden Camera was given to Mishel Roven and the prize of Jury was given to Mamakhat Salekh Kharunui.
