The elections held in Artsakh are of great importance

The Parliamentary elections of the NKR taken place yesterday are of a great importance, said Sergey Minasyan today on the press conference.

“We can say that in establishing the NKR statehood and in normalizing the Artsakh issue these elections will play a very important role. One of the main resources is the fact that the NKR authorities are being formed through the elections which are held on a perfect level. This can be used by the NKR in the relations with Azerbaijan,” S. Minasyan said.

The politician Yervand Bozoyan who was present on the press conference mentioned that, “During the last 20 years the NKR proved that it is a formulated state, even more formulated than many other countries which are formally recognized as independentand are presented in the UNO.”

According to E. Bozoyan the European Union and the United States of America should change their positions concerning these elections. He hoped that there will come the time when the EU and the USA will send “delegations to Artsakh to partake in the elections of Artsakh.”
