Shirkhanyan: Anti-Russian Propaganda is ruinous

Ex-Deputy Defense Minister Vahan Shirkhanyan considers that Armenia carries out Propaganda on several issues. According to him, particularly, on the issue of Turkey Armenia stresses that its development will be difficult unless the Armenia-Turkey relations normalize; on the issue of Karabakh Armenia propagandizes quick resolution of the conflict; anti-Army, as well as anti-Russian Propaganda against the Russian military base, cooperation with CSTO and Russia is carried out.

Shirkhanyan criticizes anti-Russian propaganda considering it ruinous.

“Russia completely defends the Armenian-Turkish border and provides Armenia’s security,” he said.

The speaker positively treats the decision on extending the term of deployment of the Russian military base in the territory of Armenia since “according to the agreement, Russia commits itself to modernize the armament in Armenia.”
