Armenian, Russian Presidents to open Hill of Honor in Gyumri

Armenian and Russian Presidents will today visit Gyumri to attend the ceremony of opening of the Hill of Honor memorial complex, “Matter of Honor” Russian-Armenian charitable organization reported.

The Hill of Honor is a military cemetery of 156 officers and military doctors of the Russian army killed during the Russian-Turkish war in 1853-1856, 1877-1878, in Gyumri. The repairs of the memorial started in December with the support of Armenian and Russian authorities and were implemented by the “Matter of Honor” Russian-Armenian charitable organization.

Note that Dmitry Medvedev is on state visit to Armenia.
