Armenian General Consul hosted Narek School of Glendale

On October 11 Gregory Hovhannisyan the General Consul in Los Angeles, visited the students of “Narek” Armenian Saturday school in Glendale. The visit was aimed at having immediate discussion in a free atmosphere with the Armenian students living in American environment and receiving foreign education who at the same time do not abandon their Armenian roots, reported press and information department of the Foreign Ministry.

Grigor Hovhannisyan answered all the questions of the students, related to Armenia and the functions of structures that present Armenia abroad.

The next goal of the visit of the General Consul of Armenia was to listen the opinions of the teachers and the students about the textbooks of the Armenian language.

Education and Science Ministry of Armenia has allocated a big amount of Armenian textbooks which was taken to Los Angeles by the efforts of the General Consulate and was provided to the students free of charge.
