Psychologist: Sects pose threat to our national security
It is alarming that religious sects are so widespread in such a small country, Armenia, as they pose a threat to our national security, psychologist Karine Nalchajyan told reporters.
“Sects first of all use psychological influence speculating on religious feelings of individuals. Jehovah's Witnesses use delicate mechanisms to affect human psychology, they use all modern psychological methods to reinforce their organizations. Behavioral studies of Jehovah's Witnesses reveal that members of this sect lose their ego,” expert said.
