E. Sharmazanov: No bases to copy Egypt

“There is no situation for social riots formed in Armenia, we rule out the shocks. If some people need a shock, we need a strong state," said Eduard Sharmazanov on the press conference today.

He excluded the peril of revolution in the country because of the social problems.

“The occurred situation in Egypt is not only a result of social problems but also a system of values in that country. The Armenian Republic has no reason to copy Egypt for social occasions. All the families in Armenia feel bad for the hard social conditions, but  we never lead an ostrich policy,” E. Sharmazanov explained.

According to him revolutions occur in those countries where the authorities are slowed, have no strength and political will to implement a reform.

“And our President has all of this,” stressed Eduard Sharmazanov.
