Four-volume book on “History of Armenian Nation” is ready

The works carried out over the “History of the Armenian Nation” four-volume book have been finished. The results were presented by Ashot Melkonyan at the NAS session on February 16.

As the information and analytic center of RA NAS informs the work describes the Armenian History since the ancient times till present times including issues like ethno-demography, National liberation movements, issues on Armenian parties and son and so forth.

The publishing of the “History of the Armenian Nation” is a governmental project in which are included more than 90 scientists from the RA NAS, the Matenadaran, YSU, the Pedagogy Institute after Khachatur Abovyan. The first volumes will come out in 2011. The brief versions of the four-volume book will come out in Russian and English languages.
