YSU to mark Mashtots 1650th birth anniversary

Yerevan State University (YSU) has organized a series of events to mark Mesrop Mashtots 1650th birth anniversary. The celebrations will start on February 17, day of Mashtots death.

A popular science film titled “From Petroglyphes to the Alphabet” (author Artak Movsisyan) will be screened as part of the festive events. The film shootings have been done mostly in Western Armenia, including in Mashtots’ native village, Hatsekats, YSU press service reported.
