“Bejanyan is famous for his works”

“It is the works of Davit Bejanyan that speak of him. His works will stay in the history of Yerevan forever,” said Levon Igityan and Henrik Garukyan in their condolence speech devoted to the sculptor.

“The whole city mourns, the whole city commemorates the loss of its Dodo. Davit Bejanyan was a real citizen of old Yerevan,by his frankness and kindness,” Igityan said.

According to H. Garukyan Bejanyan was special by his frankness, kindness, warmth, just like a citizen of old Yerevan. According to him D. Bejanyan was a man who had no mask.

The painter also mentioned with sorrow that while stating the news about Davit Bejanyan’s death the media presented him as father of singer Emmi.

“Being one of the best sculptors Davit Bejanyan is famous for his works first of all,” the artist mentioned adding that Bejanyan’s art is already a reason to remember him and to know him.
