10 carat diamond to be sold by Christie's in New York

A vivid purple-pink 10 carat diamond is expected to fetch more than £7million ($12million) when it is auctioned on Tuesday.

The exclusive stone is being sold by Christie's in New York as part of a jewelry sale.

For amazing clarity and transparency it was given the “highest classification of” color intensity.

White, blue and yellow diamonds are among the other lots to be auctioned, “Russia-24” TV channel reported.
