The political reforming will start in September this year, and the processes taking place now are simply arranging processes, told New Times party leader Aram Karapetyan during the meeting with journalists.

According to him, pre-election alliances will be formed before the parliamentary elections to be held in 2012, in particular, Heritage, ARF, People's Party and other forces that are holding negotiations.

As A. Karapetyan said he and his party will not enter into an alliance with any of those forces, and he will participate in the parliamentary elections alone.

The communication of the political forces will become more activate in the pre-election year Karapetyan said. "Today there are all objective conditions for the special process in our country, however it is worth mentioning that there are no subjective reasons for holding off-year elections."

Continuing the topic of cooperation with various political forces A. Karapetyan noted that he is in active political contacts with the People's Party. As for cooperating with the ANC A. Karapetyan said that New Times Party is in for the ideological alliances, and if they do not coincide ideologically, then they won’t cooperate. "If everything remains like this, I won’t join the ANC and will partake in the elections either alone or with another alliance."
