Azerbaijani-Armenians must be represented as separate subject

The Armenians of Azerbaijani SSR must also be represented as a separate political and legal subject, legal expert at the Assembly of Azerbaijani Armenians, Andreas Ghukasyan told reporters.

“The border between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan cannot be marked without taking into account the interests of the Azerbaijani-Armenians,” the expert said.

According to him, OSCE Minsk Group attaches minor importance to restoration of human rights, and none of the variants this organization has so far proposed took into consideration the interests of the Azerbaijani-Armenians or the compensation mechanisms.

The Azerbaijani-Armenians have the right to settle in the liberated territories, Ghukasyan stressed.
