Teachers forced to say “yes” to small salary

Today during the session at the NA deputy Anahit Bakhshyan pointed out that there have been calls from Gegharkunik and Ararat municipalities that the teachers are signing by force on documents about reducing the salary in the upcoming year.

Armen Gevorgyan replied asking for concrete examples in order he could react to the situation.

“I have got information from Gegharkunik and Ararat regions that the teachers by force are signing documents which says “I agree to have my salary reduced by this amount,” A. Bashkhyan said and added that she cannot give names.

“We will surely find it out, we have not given such an order to anyone. You point on a concrete region, we will surely find it out,” A. Gevorgyan said.
