Explosion in Moscow: Armenians suffered too

According to Russian media outlets on January 9, in the South-Western part of Moscow an explosion occurred at about 3:30 p.m. in the kitchen of an Italian restaurant. The fire, believed to have been set off by the explosion, has been caused by improper use of gas canisters.

People of Armenian nationality have suffered a gas explosion and fire at a Moscow restaurant on Monday that killed two people and injured at least 22.

Russian media outlets published a list of affected people which includes 14-year-old Felix Mkrtchian, 36-year-old restaurant staff member Siranush Yeghoyan, and supposedly a family – Nika, Victoria and Svetlana Aghajanovas.
