New record of Soldier of Armenian Army

On the occasion of 20th anniversary of creation of Armenian Armed Forces, serviceman of Armenian Armed forces Rubik Mikayelyan has hit a new record doing 7550 press-ups in 4 hours and 35 minutes (it was 6500 last year).

The record has been confirmed by a commission headed by representative of Guinness Records Office Vardan Tovmasyan. Mikayelyan’s success will first be recorded in Armenia’s Records Book and then will be sent to London-based Guinness Records Office to be registered there.

Tovmasyan has noticed that no one in the world has set such record. Sambo wrestler Rubik Mikayelyan serves in Armenian Army for 8 months and plans to do 10000 press-ups by the end of his service.
