Arman Pashikyan was out of contest in Mashhad

GM Aram Pashikyan received 9 points out of 11 possible in the open held in Mashhad city of Iran. He took the first prize. GM Levon Babujyan took the 8th place with 8 points.

139 chess players were taking part in the open.

Armenian chess champion Maria Kursova took 6.5 points out of 9 possible and took the 4th place among 46 participants, the armchess.am reports.

The first prize was with Sofiko Khukhashvili (Georgia) with the score of 7.5.
