Shakira revealed gender of her child

It was just a couple of weeks ago that Shakira announced that she and soccer-player boyfriend Gerard Pique were expecting their first child together. Now, the Colombian songstress has revealed the baby's gender!

"It's going to be a boy," the 35-year-old mama-to-be admitted to German TV network RTL, according to WENN. She went on to gush about her 25-year-old baby daddy. "This guy [Pique] is the best thing that ever happened to me in my whole life. And now we are having a baby!"

Shakira insists she plans to involve her son in all the work she's doing for others, saying, "When the baby is born, I'll take him with me on charity trips. He shall learn that he is able to change the world."
