Armenia is a safe country

China has started talks with Armenia over “Guaranteed tourism Country” status, said today Ara Pterosyan, the Deputy Minister of Economy.

The Deputy Minister attached importance to the status of having Secured tourism country as there are many European countries which have districts where it is not safe for the tourists, while Armenia is a peaceful country in that regard, he believes.

“We should trumpet that Armenia is a safe and trustable country for tourism,” A. Petrosyan mentioned and added that very often the tourists care more about the safety than about convenience.

He also mentioned that besides China, Armenia holds talks for developing tourism with several other countries like Sri Lanka, Jordan, Spain, etc.
