Anthrax cases grow

Decrease of cattle has been noticed in Zovuni district of Kotayk region on November 13. Sampling was carried out and was sent to expertise. Today it was found out that the animal was infected with anthrax, told spokesperson for the State Food Security Service Babken Pipoyan to Aysor.am.

He also added that on Sunday, in Hrazdan city there has been accorded another case of anthrax as well, in Akunk district.

B. Pipoyan also said that the necessary measures are being carried out and the additional information will be provided later.

Cases of anthrax had been recorded in Tavush, Gegharkunik, Armavir regions.
