Azerbaijan appeared on map only in 1918

Deputy of the RA foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan commented on the statement of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev during the event dedicated to Yeni Azerbaijan’s 20th anniversary.

“With such a racist ideology, such unrestrained perversion and such ridiculous ambitions towards the neighboring territories Azerbaijan could probably have the chance to preserve its existence in medieval times.

Azerbaijan, however, appeared on world map in 1918. Baku had no time to realize that the power of contemporary state is in its love towards its own nation and not in hatred towards the native nations of the region and their historical and cultural heritage,” Sh. Kocharyan mentioned.

I. Aliev had declared, “The Armenian lobby is our main enemy and we are the main enemy for them. Armenia is a country of no value. It is actually a colony, an outpost run from abroad, a territory artificially created on ancient Azerbaijani lands.”
