Armenia participates in BSEC CFM meeting
The 27th meeting of the Black Sea Economic Organization’s (BSEC) Council of Foreign Ministers took place in Istanbul on December 15. The meeting was followed by a two-day session of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The Armenian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimian. He made a speech at the meeting, in which he said BSEC has entered the 21st century with a new agenda and a new strategy aimed at promoting economic cooperation, strengthening the organization’s efficiency and overcoming the challenges of the 21st century.
At the end of the meeting, the BSEC chairmanship was transferred to Ukraine, which will chair the organization in the first half of 2013.
