N.Zohrabian:They have the right to a tete-a-tete conversation

“Yesterday people called me and asked other questions all day, instead of asking a logical question: “How is such a thing possible in a country that fosters democratic values? To me, this is the same as hearing a conversation of two people behind the door”, the secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) parliamentary faction Ms. Naira Zohrabian said during a briefing with reporters at the National Assembly, when discussing the Levon Zurabian-Vartan Oskanian conversation, made public knowledge yesterday.

She said that she has not heard this recording and is not going to hear it since she respects both Zurabian and Oskanian who “have the right to hold a tete-a-tete conversation”. “I would call on the media not to discuss it as well as the political figures so that no one will comment on this phenomenon, by which some problems are solved”.

Asked why the conversation was made public knowledge, Naira Zohrabian said that she does not know the reason but that one thing is obvious: the law enforcement system should deal with it: “Solving political problems with methods used in 1937 runs counter to those statements which are made from various political rostrums, especially in recent days”.
It should be reminded that yesterday a conversation between BHK deputy Vartan Oskanian and Armenian National Congress (HAK) deputy Levon Zurabian in a café appeared on the Internet.
